CLASSICAL MUSIC-The art form that is vanishing...

Music.....a gift given by the mother nature to the humans.A divine gift that exists in each and every corner of this world.Say crippling of leaves,wind,birds humming.The nature's orchestra never fails to amaze us.Each and every genre of music connects to people in their own way but there is one genre of music I feel that's vanishing,and is the base of the Indian music culture-Classical music.

Over a period of time the interests of people in music have been evolved.From 'ye pyaar ka nagma Hain...' to 'tera ghata Mera kuch nahi jata' we have come a long way.When we listen to the retro songs we have a feeling of peace and solitude.Not all of them but most of the songs back then had a classical background attached to them which gave this 'let's sit down for a minute,forget the rush around and just flow with this..'type feeling.What about now? Most of the songs are either exciting enough to make us dance or to remind of our love that didn't last.(hey arijit fans wassup?).The classical music is becoming rare and it is indeed a matter of concern.

In today's furious lifestyle there's a point that all of us come across where we feel stagnant,alone and sometimes broken.Classical music is a saviour in such situations.The feeling of joy and peace you'll experience when you listen to the classical compositions can't be expressed.When you hear a song like 'Baje muraliya baje' by pt.bhimsen Joshi and lata mangeshkar,the things stop for a while and you are into a different zone altogether.Many such classical songs transport you into a different world and that's necessary with the amount of stress we are going through right now. Classical music is the pillar of Indian music culture.Some organizations like the Pancham nishad,Tata capital are funding the classical concerts and inviting people for free of cost,just to witness what we are missing from the classical music.I am not against the songs that are being composed today,they have their own beauty.Agreed.I am just saying that the classical music is not getting the enough exposure and we are responsible for this.I urge all of you to give it a try once,listen to the classical music ,you may find it slow when you'll listen to it at first but trust me there's an unknown spirit hidden in every classical song,which helps you to find your inner soul.A NEW VERSION OF YOURSELF...
